The primary focus of call centers in PNG is providing customer support services to various industries such as telecommunications, banking, insurance, hospitality, and retail. The main cities with call centers include Port Moresby, Lae, Madang, Goroka, and Mount Hagen. The industry has since grown significantly, with new call centers being established every year in different parts of the country. The call center industry in PNG started gaining momentum in the early 2000s with the establishment of B Mobile’s call center in Port Moresby. With a population of over 8 million people and a rapidly growing economy, the demand for call center services has been increasing in the country.
